Ushers

Mission Statement
Ushers, present at weekend masses and special parish liturgies, greet people at the church, seat them if necessary, answer questions visitors may have, select gift bearers, take up the collection and direct the flow of the congregation during the reception of communion.

Short Term Goals
To provide review training to all ushers on the roles and responsibility of their ministry.
To recruit new ushers to assist at parish liturgies, especially those associated with Holy Week and other "non Sunday" liturgies.
To ensure that every weekend liturgy has at least one usher.

Long Term Goals
To provide a retreat day for parish ushers
To provide an usher identification badge or blazer
